Comics

To interest our target audience, we have drawn comics which will help to present the information in a fun and digestible way. The comics aim to teach students about basic information regarding kiwis. For your information, it is all personally hand-drawn by our very capable art master Khe Han. There are attached below for your viewing pleasure. Website

We have already started work on the website. Jia Shing, our website master is the 'IT' in charge, and he is in charge of creating the files, and uploading them up on a server. Nicholas, Khe Han and I (Clarence) are in charge of providing the content for the website. Progress has been rather smooth, and we are completing the website already.

We are planning to include the following components in our website.
1) Information page. This page will include all the content, and is one of the most important pages
2) 'Fun' page. This page contains links to a quiz, to more information about Kiwi Day, and to pictures and videos taken.
3) Credits page. This page will contain the sources we used in the creation of our website.

Kiwi Day - Success!!!

Kiwi Day was just over.

It was a SUCCESS!

Many people came, and we managed to raise the awareness of our project to a large extent. We were rather busy throughout the event giving out Kiwis, and promoting the health benefits of Kiwis.

We strongly believe that this event has allowed our project to reach out to many more of our target audience. Here are some videos and photos of the event:

Kiwi Day Planning

In one of our first few meetings, we discussed about possible problems we may face, and how we could overcome them. One of the major problems we predicted was that many students may not visit our website, and that our project may not be able to reach out to many students. To solve this problem, we decided to hold 'Kiwi Day' in Hwa Chong, our school. This event would raise awareness about our project, and allow us to reach out to a wide target audience.

Here are out plans for the event

· We would give out Kiwis, and our homemade Kiwi Ice cream

o Many students like eating ice cream, and the concept of Kiwi Ice Cream would interest them

· It would be held on the afternoon of 22nd April (Thursday), from 2.oop.m to 3.00p.m

o It will be before the tests, so students would be in a mood to come and relax

· It will be held in the ProEd Lounge

o Many ProEd students know where it is

o Many iSpark classrooms are nearby, and it would be convenient for them to drop by

· Publicity

o We called Zespri for posters

o We used the SMB to publicise the event to students

o We encouraged our friends and classmates to join

We hope that Kiwi Day will be a success!
